Impact & Follow-through
You made the change. Now find out whether it worked.
Organisations regularly invest in policies, programmes and interventions without returning later to measure their impact.
We help you build follow-through into the process.
Questions we can help answer
Did the intervention make a difference?
Did it work equally well for everyone?
What improved, and what did not?
Were there unintended consequences?
Have employee experiences changed over time?
Should the organisation continue, adapt or stop the intervention?
What we do
We design proportionate follow-up around the change you have made.
That might include pulse surveys, repeat measures, interviews, focus groups, workforce indicators and structured reviews after three, six or twelve months.
Where the evidence allows it, we examine change over time. Where causal claims would not be justified, we are clear about that.
What you get
Evidence about what changed, what appears to be working, what requires further attention and what the organisation should do next.
The cost of doing nothing
An intervention is not successful simply because it was delivered.
If an organisation spends time and money implementing change but never measures the outcome, it cannot know whether the investment worked, whether the problem remains or whether the approach should be repeated.
Measure. Understand. Change. Measure again.
What might this look like?
A leadership programme has finished. Did anything actually change?
An organisation invests £60,000 in a management-development programme intended to improve psychological safety, communication and team leadership.
Attendance is high and participant feedback immediately afterwards is positive. Traditionally, that would be where evaluation stops.
Instead, baseline measures are collected before the programme and repeated after three and six months. We combine these with employee pulse surveys and targeted interviews.
Managers report greater confidence shortly after training, but employee perceptions change much more slowly. After six months, teams whose managers are regularly using structured one-to-ones and clearer feedback practices show improvement, while teams where managers have not changed their day-to-day behaviour show little movement.
The recommendation is therefore not simply to repeat the training. The organisation introduces follow-up support, behavioural expectations and manager accountability.
The value: the organisation learns not just whether people liked the programme, but whether anything changed afterwards.
Indicative Pricing
Focused Impact Review
From £2,500
For a specific intervention, policy change or programme where the organisation wants an early indication of what has changed.
Typically includes a short pulse survey or repeat measure, review of relevant workforce indicators, limited qualitative follow-up, comparison with baseline information where available, and a concise findings report with recommendations.
Best for: one intervention or change, with a relatively contained follow-up.
Full Impact Evaluation
Typically £3,500–£6,000
A more robust evaluation combining quantitative and qualitative evidence to understand whether a change appears to have worked, for whom, and where further action is needed.
Typically includes baseline and follow-up measures, employee survey analysis, interviews and/or focus groups, relevant workforce indicators, subgroup analysis where appropriate, triangulation of findings, recommendations, and a leadership findings session.
Best for: organisations that want to go beyond “people liked it” and understand whether anything actually changed.
Longitudinal Impact & Follow-through
From £7,500+
For larger interventions, organisation-wide changes or programmes where outcomes need to be tracked over several months.
Could include 3, 6 and 12-month follow-ups, repeated pulse surveys, workforce metrics, interviews or focus groups, subgroup analysis, trend tracking, regular review sessions and recommendations on whether to continue, adapt or stop the intervention.
Best for: major organisational change where impact may take time to emerge.
Don’t stop at implementation.
Find out what happened next.
Impact evaluation is scoped around the change you have made and the evidence available. Pricing depends on the length of follow-up, number of measurement points, amount of qualitative research and complexity of the organisation.
