End-to-End Survey Design & Analysis
Ask better questions. Get evidence you can actually use.
A good employee survey starts long before the first question is written. We help organisations move from a business problem or research question to a survey that produces useful, interpretable evidence.
Questions we can help answer
Are some employee groups experiencing the organisation differently?
Which aspects of work are most strongly associated with engagement, trust or intention to stay?
Have experiences changed since your previous survey?
Are particular teams or areas showing different patterns?
Where should leaders focus their attention first?
What we do
We work with you to define the questions the organisation needs to answer, then design the survey around them.
That can include research-question development, questionnaire design, response scales, demographic variables, survey structure, accessibility, administration support, analysis planning, statistical analysis, interpretation and reporting.
This means the analysis is considered before the survey launches, not after the data arrives.
What you get
A survey designed for your organisation and the decisions you need to make, followed by analysis that connects the results back to those original questions.
The cost of doing nothing
Poorly designed surveys can create misleading results, survey fatigue and large quantities of data that cannot answer the questions leaders actually care about.
Sometimes the most expensive survey is the one that produces an answer you cannot use.
What might this look like?
Has a new hybrid-working policy actually worked?
An organisation introduces a new requirement for employees to attend the office three days a week. Leaders want to know whether the policy has improved collaboration, but employees are raising concerns about flexibility and trust.
Rather than starting with a generic engagement survey, we first define what the organisation actually needs to understand.
We design measures covering collaboration, purposeful office contact, autonomy, trust, manager support and intention to stay, alongside questions about working patterns and employee circumstances. We also build the analysis plan before launch so that relevant groups can be compared appropriately.
After the survey closes, the results show little overall change in collaboration, but a marked reduction in perceived autonomy among employees whose roles had previously been highly flexible. Employees who report purposeful team contact in the office have much more positive experiences than those attending simply to meet a numerical requirement.
The recommendation is therefore not simply “more office” or “less office”. It is to focus office attendance around purposeful collaboration and give managers greater scope to apply the policy intelligently.
The value: the survey answers the organisation's actual policy question rather than producing another set of generic engagement scores.

Tell us what you need to understand.
Every survey is scoped around the question you need to answer. Pricing depends on workforce size, survey complexity, number of groups, free-text volume, administration requirements and reporting needs. We agree the scope and price before work begins.
